About Me
Drawing influence and melding the sounds of dancehall, jungle, breakcore and beyond, unsoundbwoy has been carving a niche in the Australian and International experimental music scene since 2002.
unsoundbwoy has appeared in jungle, breakcore and experimental music events Australasia wide, notably This Is Not Art 2006, Voyages in Christchurch, Reggaetown in Northern Queensland and Melbourne’s first jungle soundclash.
unsoundbwoy has extensively toured Europe, playing RE:FEST festival in Belgium and shows alongside breakcore and jungle luminaries including General Malice, Drumcorps, Fexomat, X&Trick and Stivs.
Productions by unsoundbwoy have featured on singles, compilations and mixes by elefant traks, don't doo dat, illcomfort, respect, ruffah-ras, killa records, grindthieves and MORE recordings.
A strong involvement in environmental and social justice issues led unsoundbwoy to release GOLD MINE, a benefit for the legal campaign against the Lake Cowal goldmine, which sold out two pressings, received national media coverage and featured the likes of tzu, blue king brown, spoonbill and miso. He has also been involved with benefit albums to help rebuild after the Victorian bushfires in 2006 and Hurricane Dean in Jamaica during 2007.
